The ice catcher enables you to place a few ice cubes in the bongs tube and it also double up as a splash guard, preventing the bong water from traveling up and into your mouth. The smoke gets cooled and filtered as it travels through the numerous slits of the submerged showerhead percolator that breaks it up in an unbelievable amount of bubbles.
